2024 Goodman Speaker Series

Join UNC for the second annual Goodman Speaker Series, generously sponsored by alumni Casey '10 and Lindsey '10, '14 Goodman and organized by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

This year's lecture is entitled "Beyond the Classroom: How Does the Transition to Clean Energy Actually Happen?" and will feature Matthew Popkin, founder and leader of the Rocky Mountain Institute's Brightfields Accelerator.

The discussion is open to all members of the UNC community and the public. The conversation will focus on the path to clean energy and how these efforts can be taken beyond the classroom and put into practice. The lecture will be follwed by an open question an answer session.
