Arts Education and Art History Professor Dr. Connie Stewart will kick-off a conversation on how the arts reflect current culture and connect to our personal life stories. In this Community Conversation, Dr. Stewart will take art appreciation out of the museum and into your real, everyday world, using examples of modern works to lead you toward a an enriched understanding of contemporary art. Attendees are invited to participate in an open discussion with Dr. Stewart, interact with samples of the artwork being discussed, and find deep connections between artistic expression and their daily lives.

Time: 5:30-7:00 pm
Price: $5.00 for alumni and friends. Free for UNC Students with valid UNC ID.
Light refreshments will be served.
