The Class of 1963 50-Year Reunion committee has been hard at work since January planning all the details for a wonderful weekend to come back and visit your alma mater. We invite you to join us for a variety of activities including a tour of the campus led by student ambassadors, a luncheon including a special performance by the student group The Northern Colorado Voices, the Honored Alumni Awards celebration, private Golden Bear Tailgate, homecoming football game and much, much more.
You may register for the entire weekend, Friday activities only or Saturday activities only. Each package includes a commemorative t-shirt. Please specify the sizes needed. Available sizes are Small-XXL.
- The cost for the entire weekend is $120 per guest. $25 of your registration is a tax deductible contribution to the 50-Year Society Scholarship.
- The cost for Friday only is $95 per guest. $15 of your registration is a tax deductible contribution to the 50-Year Society Scholarship .
- The cost for Saturday only is $50 per guest. $10 of your registration is a tax deductible contribution to the 50-Year Society Scholarship.
Friday, September 27:
The reunion will begin with a continental breakfast in the Panorama Room of the University Center at 9 a.m. Following at 10 a.m. will be the bus tour of campus, visiting both the old and new areas of campus. There will be walking portions of the tour for those who are interested. While on the tour a group photo will be taken at Hi Bridge. The reunion luncheon will begin at 12 p.m. back in the Panorama Room of the University Center. During the luncheon you will enjoy a special video presentation, the student -performance group The Northern Colorado Voices, and the Class of 1963 induction into the 50-Year Society. The luncheon entree is High Plains Buffalo Loaf. We can accommodate vegetarian needs, simply specify the number of vegetarian meals requested when you register.
On Friday evening you are invited to join the Alumni Association for the Honored Alumni Awards celebration starting at 6:30 p.m. in the ballrooms of the University Center. There will be hors d'oeuvres and desserts served as well as a cash bar.
Saturday, September 28:
Saturday morning will kick-off starting at 9:30 a.m. with Community Fest, a campus-wide celebration located just west of Michener Library. You will enjoy student entertainment, demonstrations and hands-on learning experiences. Be sure to visit the UNC Alumni Association booth and mention you are with the Class of 1963 50-year Reunion! Starting at 11 a.m. make your way to the Judy Farr Center for a private Gold Bear Tailgate prior to the game. You will enjoy food and drink and an opportunity to show your Bear spirit! The homecoming game will kick-off at 1:35 p.m. against Southern Utah. Reunion attendees will enjoy seats in the chair-back section on the home team side. Again we can accommodate vegetarian needs, simply specify your request when you register.
Parking:
Parking on both Friday and Saturday will be complimentary. Parking at the University Center (20th St. between 10th and 11th Ave.) will be located in the north east parking lot at the corner of 20th St. and 10th Ave. On Saturday complimentary parking will be located in lots L, M and Y. Golf Carts:
We will provide golf carts on both Friday and Saturday to provide assistance in getting around campus during the activities.
