Student Alumni Association (SAA)
What is the SAA?
The SAA is a student organization dedicated to connecting students and alumni, preparing undergraduates for life after graduation, and encouraging school spirit and Bear Pride across campus.
The purpose of this organization to develop friendships between students and alumni, to provide enriching opportunities for students to meet and cultivate relationships within the UNC community. Members educate and raise awareness among current students about the importance of being involved at UNC before and after graduation, and promote an increase in overall student participation. Alumni were students and students will be alumni, therefore SAA strives to form loyal bonds so they can recognize
their lifetime relationship to the college.
Each year the SAA is involved with various events that target both students and alumni, including but not limited to, Homecoming Royalty, a Day of Service, a LinkedIn and Networking Night, and the Senior BBQ. Each of these events fits with the mission of the SAA, engaging students and alumni in the life of the UNC community.
