What is Team UNC?
- Team UNC is the annual opportunity for staff and faculty to make a contribution to the college, school, department, program or funding priority that matters most to them.
Who qualifies for the matching gift opportunity?
- Current UNC faculty and staff who make a contribution to the UNC Foundation between August 1, 2008 and October 31, 2008.
How much of my gift will be matched?
- The UNC Foundation will contribute $.50 for every dollar received. For example, if you were to contribute $100, the Foundation would contribute $50.
- The maximum the UNC Foundation will contribute is $1,000 per individual donor.
What funds can I contribute to?
- The UNC Foundation has many funds to choose from that support a variety of programs and scholarships. A list of these funds can be found at www.unco.edu/OFA/Scholarships/Scholarships.asp
To what fund does the matching contribution go?
- The matching contribution will be placed in the same fund the contributor designates.
- If the contributor makes more than one contribution of varying amounts to different funds, the matching contribution amounts and designation will reflect the original contribution amounts and designations.
What if I contribute automatically each month through my paycheck?
- Gifts received via payroll deduction by the UNC Foundation from August 1, 2008 to October 31, 2008 will be matched. For example, if you have pledged $1,200 to be contributed in increments of $100 a month, the $300 contributed between August 1, 2008 and October 31, 2008, would be matched at $150.
