July 3 and 4, 2006
Join the stampede back to the Northern Colorado campus to reminisce about your college days, reconnect with old friends, and revel at the world-famous Greeley Stampede. Enjoy a BBQ, live music, fireworks, rodeos and one huge parade! We will also be honoring President Emeritus Richard Bond and retiring Dean of Students Jean Schober Morrell as part of the festivities.
Schedule of Events
Monday July 3rd:
Alumni Stampede Golf Swing
9 am at Pelican Lakes Golf Course
Registration begins at 8 am. Cost is $100 per player or $360 for a team of four with a tee prize included. Lunch and awards will follow.
Mini Reunions, 12 Noon
Organize your own mini reunions to reunite with old friends, teammates, Greek organizations and more.
Dean Jean Schober Morrell's Retirement Reception, 4pm
Reception tent located north of Gunter Hall. A courtesy RSVP is requested. Please call 800.332.1862 or 970.351.2551.
Reunion Registration, 4 -7 pm
Stop by the registration tent in front of Gunter Hall to pick up event passes, campus maps, reunion gifts and more. Those staying on campus can pick up residence hall keys here as well.
Campus Tours, 4 and 5 pm
Stroll or ride through campus on a guided tour or pick up a map and explore on your own. Free for all registered reunion participants.
Reunion Reception, 5:30-7 pm
Join Emeritus and current faculty as they host the reunion reception in Garden Theater. Enjoy refreshments and mingle with those who most influenced your academic experience.
BBQ and Live Band, 7-9 pm
Get the party started with great BBQ, live music and a beer garden in Garden Theater. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the music of Never Surrender, Denver’s classic rock and variety band.
Tuesday, July 4
Reunion Breakfast, 7-9 am
Breakfast will be served in Garden Theater prior to the parade.
Stampede/ 9 News Parade, 9 am
Registered reunion attendees will enjoy the privilege of reserved parade seating along the beginning of the parade route.

Discounted rooms are available at the following Greeley hotels for members of the Alumni Association: Country Inn & Suites, Days Inn, Fairfield Inn and the Sleep Inn. Hotel reservations must be made by June 7 to receive the discount.
