Dawson Davis - BS 1982

Dawson Davis entered the Financial Services industry in 1982 as an analyst for one of the pioneers in the Financial Planning Industry. While learning the trade, he served three years on the Board of Directors for the Pikes Peak Chapter of Certified Financial Planners. Davis then accepted the position of Investment Specialist for the Denver Agency of what was then called New England Life, where he trained and managed hundreds of financial professionals over a twelve year period. The remainder of his career was spent in both private practice and managing the investment departments for several banks. Davis now resides in Colorado Springs where his time is split between his UNC Alumni Association Board responsibilities, playing golf and staying very active in the political arena
