Cheryl Williams-Carter - BS 1982
Marketing and Programs Director
Cheryl is an alumnus of the University of Northern Colorado and posses a degree in Business Marketing. She has a very broad and diverse background in the fields of marketing, event management/promotions, communications and project management.
Cheryl has worked as a manager/director in marketing, public relations, project management, program and business development for over 20 years with some of the nation’s largest financial and educational institutions. To her credit she was a contributing writer for a National Credit Union Branding Strategies book, conference speaker on customer retention programs and has been named as “Who’s Who of marketing professionals”.
Currently, Cheryl is the Director of Marketing and Programs for the Auraria Campus' Student & Auxiliary Services Division where she directs and oversees all marketing, program and communication initiatives for the Division.
Outside of her active professional career, Cheryl makes time for her family and gives back to various community projects and serves on multiple boards, she developed her passion for community work during her collegiate years where she was very active on the campus University of Northern Colorado.
